Greenberg, a portfolio manager, along with his colleagues, will continue to work with clients while using First Manhattan’s in-house research capabilities and operating platform.

Greenberg has over four decades of experience advising individuals, families, retirement plans, and nonprofit institutions. He founded MRJ Capital in 2013 and previously served as a managing director and investment analyst at Iridian Asset Management, where he spent over a decade co-managing institutional large-cap portfolios. Earlier in his career, Greenberg spent over two decades at Central National-Gottesman, which later became Greenhaven Associates, where his roles included lead portfolio manager and executive vice president.

First Manhattan was founded in 1964 and has about $20 billion in fee-paying assets under management.
